I had a great stay at this place that provided a relaxing base for traveling to the area, even though the bed was a bit too soft, the apartment was thoroughly enjoyable.

I recently stayed at a charming little cottage in Newark-on-Trent for a short break. The location couldn't have been better, right in the heart of town with easy access and no stairs to navigate. The cottage was immaculate, bright, and had all the essentials you could need. It was spacious and had great facilities, making my stay comfortable and enjoyable. Plus, being close to the market, grocery store, and Newark Castle was a bonus!
Would be happy to recommend this hotel.

My mind was blown by the immaculate condition and spaciousness of this jaw-dropping place! With great facilities like strong wifi and easy access, I was happily amazed. The prime town center location was super convenient for shopping and exploring. All essentials were provided, and the property retained warmth perfectly. Definitely an ideal spot for a short break for adults only. No pets allowed and no smoking on site. I would happily stay here again!

The location was great, with easy access to the town center and a nearby supermarket. The cleanliness of the apartment was excellent, and the facilities provided were top-notch. We were impressed with the efficient and helpful service we received from the staff.
It would have been nice to have these provided, especially during our Christmas stay. the temperature control of the heaters was difficult to adjust, making it uncomfortable to find the right setting.

We had a great value for our money at St Leonards Cottage. The room was clean, bright, and had all the essentials we needed for a perfect getaway. The location was fantastic, tucked away on a pretty street and within walking distance to the market, grocery store, and Newark Castle. The staff was friendly and the automatic lighting system at the entrance was a nice touch.
The only thing that could make the hotel breakfast better is a wider variety of options.

I really liked everything about this place and its peaceful location, it was only a 10-15 minute walk from a lovely parish church.

The location of the cottage was perfect for our romantic escape. We were right in the heart of town, with easy access to shops, restaurants, and bars. It was also great having Morrison's just a short walk away for any grocery needs.
There were a few minor issues that detracted from our experience. the lighting in the living room was quite dim and there was very little natural light, making it feel later in the day than it actually was.

The staff were helpful, prime location, easy access, all essentials provided, Netflix on TV.
Nothing all excellent.

City Views: The view from the window was like a stunning painting that came to life. It was as if I had my own personal cinema screen showcasing the hustle and bustle of the city below. Absolutely breathtaking.
Stiff Door Latch: The only hiccup during our stay was the door latch being a little stubborn. But hey, if even the Hulk struggled, it can't be that big of a deal, right?
